Indian business process services (BPS) giant, Firstsource, has chosen Melbourne for its Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) headquarters. The decision highlights Melbourne's deep talent pool, robust government support, and thriving innovation ecosystem.
This move is expected to open new doors for Firstsource to scale its operations and capabilities.
Leveraging Melbourne's talent and innovation ecosystem will enable it to accelerate growth in the region and develop new digital solutions. The headquarters will serve as a hub for the company’s specialist domain-led service operations.
In a strategic long-term plan, Firstsource also plans to establish an Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Customer Experience (CX) Innovation Lab in Melbourne. This initiative will further cement the company’s commitment to innovation, helping shape the future of AI and CX solutions.
Ritesh Idnani, Firstsource Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, pictured above, said:
