The Victorian Government's Department of Economic Development, Transport, Jobs and Resources, through its Victorian Government Business Offices and its Business Engagement Model will engage with all foreign companies who choose to set up operations in Victoria.
Through this model the Victorian Government interacts with approximately 12,000 businesses in Victoria each year.
Once set up in Victoria, a dedicated business development manager will act as your government liaison and will look to develop a long term relationship with you and your business.
They will be able to provide you with industry insight and actively support your business to succeed and grow in Victoria by assisting you to:
- innovate and introduce new technologies that will increase productivity and drive growth
- access new markets, both domestic and export
- invest in new facilities
- facilitate new investment.
Your business development manager will also be able to assist you progress market opportunities by providing introductions to Victorian based private businesses, universities, research institutions, industry associations, not for profit organisations or government.
