    Peter leads on the enabling functions that will support the long term and strategic development of Victoria’s energy sector, including supply chain activation, skills and workforce development, business and industry engagement, and emerging energy technologies. Peter is an engineer with an extensive background in both the private and public sector, with significant experience in energy industry development.

  • Wayne Smith, Head of Advocacy, Smart Energy Council

    Wayne is a political strategist who helps shape and develop tactics for the Smart Energy Council. As manager of government relations, Wayne is responsible for policy, advocacy, strategy and campaigning across the organisation. Wayne has held senior roles in the renewables industry for over a decade, working and consulting for some of Australia’s leading renewable energy companies and industry bodies.
