The Significant Investor visa can provide a pathway to permanent residency in as little as four years, provided you spend 160 days in Australia and maintain your A$5 million investment for the duration of your visa.

There is no upper age limit or points test requirement for the Significant Investor Visa. You can extend your provisional visa twice, each extension can be up to two years, to meet the permanent residency requirements.

How to apply for the Significant  Investor Visa

Steps	Process
Step 1	Submit an Expression of Interest on the Australian government Department of Immigration and Border Protection's SkillSelect website. Choose Victoria as your nominating destination.
Step 2	You will receive an invitation to lodge an online application for nomination. The Victorian Government will then assess your application for nomination within five business days at no cost.
Step 3	Once you are nominated by the Victorian Government, you will be invited to lodge a visa application through SkillSelect.
