The new Emporium Melbourne development is now attracting overseas tenants with the signing of a series of major league US labels.

Skatewear brand: ZooYork, fashion group: UCLA and Calvin Klein offshoot: CK Watches and Jewellery are opening their first Australian stores and join other US brands Top Shop, Uniqlo as tenants at CFS Retail Property Trust's Emporium in Melbourne's city centre.

CFS Retail Property Trust's Japan's Uniqlo is also opening its first Australian store at the centre, located close to Top Shop of Britain.

The Weekend Australian is also reporting that other new retailers for Melbourne who are also planning to take up tenancies at the centre include Victoria's Secret, Marc Cain, Dr Denim, Michael Kors, Brooks Brothers, Capsule, Top 3 by Design and Farage.

The centre will also offer 18 Australian flagship stores, including Calvin Klein's premium label, Oroton, Camper, Diesel, Coach, Guess, Timberland, WSI, Seed Heritage and Autonomy.

CFS Retail, headed by Angus McNaughton, has so far signed up 170 tenants to its new 200-store centre in the heart of the CBD.

The Emporium development is expected to open by Easter.
