The highly acclaimed Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition is a biennial event held across six days at the Avalon Airport, from Tuesday 26 February to Sunday 3 March 2013.
As one of the largest of its kinds in the Southern Hemisphere, the 2013 Australian International Airshow will feature the world’s most spectacular flying displays and an incredible array of aircraft on static display, making the Airshow one of the world’s greatest!
Industry-only trade sessions for attendance by accredited industry, defence and government professionals will be held Tuesday to Thursday (all day) and Friday (unit 2pm). The show will open to the general public, from Friday 1 March (2pm - 9pm) to Sunday 3 March (8am - 6pm).
Associated industry and technology conferences, seminars and symposias will be held at Avalon and in Melbourne and Geelong during show week.
A major Careers and Skills program for teachers, careers professionals and students will be conducted at Avalon during the event.
An expanded family entertainment program at the Airshow will excite both the young and young at heart, with colourful roving entertainment, children’s rides and special arenas providing plenty of action on the ground!
