In a major coup for Victoria, Melbourne has been named the first location outside the UK to host one of the world’s most highly-regarded renewable and clean energy expos.

The All-Energy Australia Expo and Conference - the biggest of its kind in Australia - will be held on 7 and 8 October this year at the new Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The Victorian Government will be the principal sponsor of the event which will bring together investors, researchers, academics, industry and government representatives from here and overseas to discuss and view the latest clean energy technology.
“The Victorian Government is taking action to make Victoria a world leader in renewable and clean energy development and our success at attracting this event is a major coup for the state,” Energy and Resources Minister Peter Batchelor said.
“The expo and conference will be free to attend and is the perfect platform to showcase work already being undertaken here as well as the potential for further clean, sustainable energy projects,” he said.
All-Energy UK is one of Europe's most important all-renewable energy exhibition and conferences and has been running in Aberdeen, Scotland, since 2001, with last year's event attracting almost 5000 participants from 60 countries.
